Culture of Indonesia

Just wanna tell that Indonesia has very many cultures . From sabang until marauke. Indonesia has 34 provinces (updated) , so it proves that Indonesia has a big area. I’ll tell you guys about some of the cultures which are really unique and make me (us) proud to be Indonesian :)

1.       1. Cultures of Central Java

Central Java is a province where the Java’s cultures have expanded there because in the past there were so many kingdom, so that’s why there are so many temples there. The amazing thing for example is BATIK. In Central Java every area has a different motif of batik. And not just BATIK, There is also art that is not less remarkable is wayang kulit ( shadow puppet). Shadow puppet and batik have been recognized worldwide as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO. There are also songs accompanied by Javanese gamelan (musical instrument) which are also known as campursari. there is also ketoprak which is the unique role of performing arts of Java. In Central Java there is still kingdom that is still exactly in the city, known as Solo Kasunanan. Javanese culture was really a lot. Start of puppets, puppet people, ketoprak, dance and much more.
