THE HIDDEN TREASURE OF INDONESIA

According to Guiness Book Of World Record, Indonesia still has record of the world for the longest coastline. Because Indonesia has 17,504 islands. Unfortunately, still many of us who don’t know about a beautiful view from beach in some islands. This is time to add these places in our vacation list .

Maybe we (Indonesian) haven’t heard about this place. But believe or not, many people in the world have known about this place, because Raja Ampat (located in Irian Jaya) is one of the best 10 nautical tourist place in the world. There are 5000 foreigners vacation there on 2009. coral reefs in Raja Ampat is one of the most complete in the world. So you can imagine how beautiful this place is?

Derawan Island is located in east Kalimantan. Maybe many tourist have heard about this place. Example, in Japan there is a tour which offers Derawan to be tourist destination. And, Derawan is also one of two places in the world who has sting-less jellyfish . and in this place too we can find 50 marine animals in one coral reefs, include shark and mermaids. And according to the nature conservancy , environmental organizations, this place has orang utan population which almost extinct.

Komodo Island (Located in Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara) is one of treasures because it has 1300 kamodo’s habitat. This place was “New Seven Wonders Of Nature”. And Komodo Island also has a beautiful beach. And local residents call this beach “Pantai Merah” (Pink beach) because this beach has pink sand. There are 7 beaches in the world who has pink beach, and Indonesia has one of them.
